Project Qatar kicks off June 9 to boost networking and business opportunities

IFP Qatar has announced the completion of preparations for the 22nd edition of Project Qatar, the country’s largest exhibition specialising in building materials, equipment, and construction technologies. Held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the exhibition will take place from 9 to 11 June 2026 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).

This year’s edition will be held under the theme “Manufacture, Build, Innovate”, reflecting its focus on supporting the industrial sector, advancing the construction industry, and encouraging innovative solutions and technologies. Project Qatar is being organised at a significant time for the regional market, offering a practical platform that brings together companies, government entities, investors, and decision-makers to explore collaboration opportunities, strengthen direct engagement, and support business continuity across the construction sector and related industries.

According to data from the MEED Projects Index, the total value of active projects in Qatar increased by USD 44.2 billion year-on-year, rising from USD 160.4 billion at the end of 2024 to USD 204.6 billion by the end of 2025. This includes USD 100.6 billion worth of projects currently under execution and USD 104 billion in the pre-execution stage.
