Zulal Wellness Resort, Chiva-Som’s latest wellness destination in Qatar was recently awarded by the ‘World’s Best New Wellness Retreat 2020’. Playing a vital role in the resort’s growth and development, General Manager, Daniele Vastolo elaborates on the journey that led to winning this prestigious accolade. With over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Vastolo has brought his dedication and passion for wellness and sustainable change to the team as resort prepares to open its doors.
Vastolo joins the Zulal Wellness Resort pre-opening team from his role as General Manager in one of Beirut’s 5 star luxury properties, where he led all aspects of hotel operations. Prior to Lebanon, Vastolo was a Group Director of Operations in Lebanon, Greece and Turkey, before stepping into the Middle East. Vastolo’s dynamic approach has seen him in leadership positions within international hospitality groups and luxury properties across the globe.
Particularly focused on promoting health & wellness as a new definition of luxury & lifestyle, Vastolo is set to spearhead the launch of the property. An inspirational leader of Zulal Wellness Resort’s team since the inception of the resort, the resort is set to inspires positive sustainable wellness lifestyle changes and aims at contributing towards building healthier societies.
