“Hour and Hour ” Program
The “hour and hour ” program organized the fourth edition of its tourism event, “Tourist Destinations,” at Simaisma Resort, as part of its efforts to strengthen Qatar’s position as a leading regional and global tourist destination.

The event, held in cooperation with the Youth Commission of Al Sailiya Club, aimed to highlight the richness and diversity of Qatar’s tourism experience, including culture, heritage, nature, and authentic hospitality. It also sought to spotlight tourist landmarks and areas, promote domestic tourism, and connect various segments of society with the country’s geography and civilizational history through an integrated interactive program combining knowledge, entertainment, and hands-on experience.
The “Tourist Destinations” event included a discussion session featuring several media professionals, influencers, and entrepreneurs, namely: Ms. Amina Qatba, a cultural advisor; social media influencer Abdullah Al-Anzi; influencer Anas Abu Qamar; and moderated by media personality Mona Hawa.

During the session, participants discussed ways to support local tourism, the role of media and digital platforms in promoting tourist destinations, and enhancing the image of Qatar’s tourism offerings. Additionally, Qatari Chef Hamad Al-Hajri presented a segment on traditional cooking.
The event also featured a guided tour to introduce the venue, along with interactive artistic workshops that included leaf painting, pottery coloring, mosaic art, and a “Drouaza” workshop.
For her part, Ms. Tamani Al-Yafei, CEO of the “hour and hour” program, emphasized that the “Tourist Destinations” event aligns with the program’s vision of building
sustainable tourism awareness. She stated, “At the hour and hour program, we are committed to providing qualitative initiatives that introduce society, across all segments, to the tourism and cultural wealth that Qatar enjoys.

Through the ‘Tourist Destinations’ event, we aim to create an authentic interactive experience that links knowledge with practice, fosters a sense of belonging, and opens new horizons for integration between media, entrepreneurs, and influencers to professionally and sustainably support local tourism.”
The CEO of the “hour and hour” program added that the program places particular importance on partnerships with the private sector and cultural and tourism institutions, considering them essential elements in developing local tourism content, stimulating the tourism economy, and providing safe and meaningful educational and entertainment experiences.
The event concluded with a cultural competition segment presented by Mr. Ahmed Bato, followed by a ceremony honoring participants and supporters, and a group photo, reaffirming the community and cultural role that the “Tourist Destinations” initiative seeks to establish within Qatar’s tourism landscape.
