How Dubai’s best life coach stepped beyond comfort to pioneer Qatar’s Wellness Revolution
Opening Quote:
“Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.”
— Qur’an, Surah Ar-Ra’d 13:11
Transformation beyond borders
Some legacies are written by those who master their art within the walls of familiarity. Others, however, write history by leaving those walls behind and daring to pioneer new frontiers.
Lee Levy, celebrated as the Best Life Coach in Dubai since 2006, belongs firmly in the latter category. Known across the Middle East for his unmatched blend of personal transformation coaching, corporate training, and inspirational leadership, Lee could have easily remained in Dubai while enjoying a city where he was already a household name, featured in magazines, and adorned with accolades.
Yet transformation does not thrive in comfort zones. It thrives in uncertainty. And that is why Coach Lee made the bold choice to expand into Qatar, a country rich with culture, tradition, and untapped potential for wellness and mental health development.

From Dubai’s First Official Life Coach to Global Recognition
When Lee Levy began coaching in Dubai in 2006, the city was just starting to embrace the concept of life coaching. Back then, wellness was not a mainstream industry, and “life coaching” was often misunderstood.
Lee recalls:
“When I started in Dubai, many people asked me: what exactly is a life coach? It took patience, sincerity, and resilience to show that coaching wasn’t a luxury, it was a necessity for growth.”
Over nearly two decades, Lee established himself as a pioneer:

The call to Qatar: Why leave comfort?
By the early 2020s, Lee had reached a level of prominence where many would have simply settled. His Dubai ecosystem thrived millions of social media impressions monthly, sold-out workshops, and a loyal client base.
However, for Lee, remaining in one city felt like betrayal to his purpose at life and that is to be of service to humanity. “Transformation doesn’t mean repeating what you’ve already mastered. It means daring to evolve into what feels uncertain,” he reflects.
Qatar became the canvas for his next chapter. Fresh from hosting the FIFA World Cup 2022, Qatar was entering a new era of cultural, social, and economic expansion. Wellness and mental health were on the rise, yet the market lacked pioneers to give it structure and leadership.
Lee saw not competition, only responsibility. “My gift is transformation. Should I keep it only in Dubai, I am serving myself. If I share it with Qatar, I am serving humanity.”
Risks of the Leap: Transformation Always Demands Sacrifice
Entering a new market was not an easy feat.
• Uncertainty of Acceptance — Dubai had embraced Lee’s methods; Qatar was still new territory. Would the culture respond the same way?
• Financial Investment — Building teams, training programs, and partnerships meant starting from scratch.
• Time and Energy — Traveling between Dubai and Doha demanded balance, energy, and sacrifices of personal comfort.
• Resistance to Change — Not everyone welcomed modern life coaching within Qatar’s traditional frameworks. Lee had to earn trust by showing respect for the culture.
Yet he embraced each challenge. “Faith without risk is not faith. Transformation without fear is not transformation,” he often teaches.
Coach Lee what was the greatest adjustment to your life navigating between two offices being Dubai and Doha?
Lee Levy:
“The greatest adjustment was not logistical—it was emotional. Moving between Dubai and Doha meant living in dual energies. Dubai is fast-paced, futuristic, and constantly evolving, while Doha is intentional, steady, and deeply rooted in cultural values. Balancing the speed of one and the depth of the other required me to center myself daily. I had to learn to reset every time I stepped off a plane. It wasn’t about splitting myself; it was about expanding myself to embrace both worlds fully.”

The Benefits of Risking the Unknown
Lee’s expansion into Qatar paid off in profound ways—not just for him, for the communities he touched. He shared the following valuable Pearls of Wisdom as he calls them:
- Market Leadership
By entering early, Lee positioned himself as a pioneer, becoming the face of Qatar’s wellness transformation.
- Cultural Integration
His coaching merged global best practices with Qatar’s deeply rooted values of family, community, and faith—creating a uniquely resonant approach.
- International Recognition
This leap elevated his brand from Dubai’s Best Life Coach to a regional leader across the Gulf and into Europe as well as creating a phenomenal path into Turkey with monthly Wellness Seminars that are sold out.
- Personal Growth
The risks tested and refined his own courage, proving that even master’s must continuously evolve.
- Legacy of Empowerment
Lee’s presence catalyzed opportunities for Qatari coaches, wellness startups, and institutions to expand wellness initiatives nationwide.
We asked Coach Lee fundamentally what are the core differences between the United Arab Emirates and Qatar?
Coach Lee:
“The UAE is a playground for ambition—it thrives on speed, innovation, and breaking world records. It’s a country that tells you: dream bigger, faster, louder. Qatar, on the other hand, is a nation that values depth. It reminds you: grow stronger, grow rooted, grow wise. The UAE pushes you to climb skyscrapers, while Qatar teaches you to anchor yourself in heritage. Both are powerful in their own ways, but the balance of these energies is what makes the Gulf region a true center of transformation.”
Philosophy of Transformation
Lee’s life and career embody a timeless truth: transformation begins inside before it manifests outside.
“The universe does not respond to what you pretend to be—it responds to your sincerity,” he often tells his clients.
This echoes divine wisdom is his religious values while respecting other faiths he says and shared the below with us:
“Indeed, Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.” (Qur’an 13:11)
•“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Bible, Romans 12:2)
For Lee, transformation is never about abandoning faith, culture, or identity. It is about aligning sincerity, love, and courage so fully that the universe cannot help but respond.
When we asked Coach Lee what was the greatest observation point for others to consider when developing companies?
Lee Levy:
“The greatest observation is this: build for people, not for ego. Too many companies develop products or services to prove they are clever, but they forget to ask: does this serve humanity? When you build with empathy, when you design with sincerity, your company not only survives but thrives. The second observation is patience. Many entrepreneurs want immediate success. Qatar has taught me that true foundations are built slowly but last for centuries. Look at culture, not just numbers.”
Lessons from Lee Levy’s Journey:
- Courage over Comfort — Staying comfortable limits your destiny. Growth lies in risk.
- Self-Belief as Currency — Before others invest in you, invest in yourself.
- Faith in Action — Transformation begins when you act without guarantees.
- Love as Foundation — Self-love creates resilience, humility, and compassion.
- Integration, Not Imposition — True change respects culture while inspiring progress.
Another interest fact to note is that Coach Lee and his team developed and launched Dubai C-Suite Business Development Program and asked him to share the merits hereof:

Coach Lee:
“The C-Suite Business Development Program was born out of a need I observed in corporate leadership. Many executives know their industries, but few know themselves. This program is designed for CEOs, directors, and decision-makers who want to strengthen not just strategy but psychology. We focus on three pillars: self-mastery, team alignment, and market innovation. When leaders transform themselves, they transform their companies. That’s why some of Qatar’s and Dubai’s most prestigious hotels, real estate agencies, and corporate groups bring me in—not just to train their teams, but to reset their leaders from the inside out.”
We asked Coach Lee to share insights on the values and importance of training and development at companies.
The Power of Training & Development: Transforming Staff into Leaders
If there is one consistent truth across Lee Levy’s career in both Dubai and Qatar, it is this: transformation does not stop at the individual level. True transformation extends into organizations, cultures, and industries. And the bridge between personal growth and organizational success is training and development for staff.
Why training matters now more than ever
Modern workplaces are evolving faster than ever before. Technology, cultural shifts, globalization, and new customer expectations demand that businesses stay agile. But agility is not built in boardrooms, it is built within the staff who form the backbone of every company.
Coach Lee emphasizes:
“A company is only as strong as the self-belief of its people. When staff are not trained, mentored, and valued, the business will always remain weaker than its competitors.
Training is not just about skill-building. It is about empowerment. It teaches staff not only what to do, also adds value to who they can become.”
From employees to ambassadors
One of Lee’s central philosophies in staff development is that training transforms employees into ambassadors. Staff who are consistently mentored and developed begin to view themselves not as workers completing tasks but as stakeholders representing the brand’s mission.
This is particularly powerful in industries such as:
• Hospitality | where every interaction becomes the face of the brand.
• Real Estate | where trust and confidence drive million-dollar decisions.
• Corporate Teams | where leadership is distributed across every role, not just the C-Suite.
Lee’s leadership modules delivered to international hotels, real estate firms, and corporate offices, are designed to turn staff into inspired contributors. In Dubai, Doha, Berlin, and to date in 8 cities in Europe & Istanbul, Lee has observed the same risk:
‘Organizations that refuse to invest in training eventually stagnate. Markets evolve, customer needs change, and new competitors emerge, but untrained staff remain stuck in yesterday’s strategies and in most cases, they leave to go where they are developed.’
Coach Lee explains:
“Training is not an expense, it’s an investment, an insurance against irrelevance. Every dollar not spent on developing staff today becomes ten dollars lost tomorrow in missed opportunities, high turnover, or reputational damage.”
Qatar’s emerging emphasis on development
In Qatar especially, staff training has taken on a new level of importance. As the nation expands its international profile post-World Cup, hospitality, real estate, healthcare, and education sectors are under global scrutiny. Trained, confident, and professional staff are not just a luxury, they are the country’s ambassadors to the world.
Lee Levy has been central to this transformation. Through partnerships with five-star hotels and leading corporations, he has brought internationally tested training frameworks into Qatar, adapted to respect cultural and social values. This balance of global expertise and local sensitivity is what makes his training programs resonate so deeply.
Core elements of effective training programs
Coach Lee outlines five pillars that every staff training and development initiative must have to succeed:
1. Self-mastery
Staff must first understand themselves, strengths, weaknesses, and values, before they can serve others effectively.
2. Emotional intelligence
Skills are replaceable; empathy and awareness are not. Training staff to communicate, listen, and connect is non-negotiable.
3. Leadership at every level
Leadership is not confined to management. Every staff member, from receptionist to CEO, must feel empowered to make decisions and take initiative.
4. Cultural alignment
In diverse markets like Dubai and Doha, training must teach cultural awareness, inclusivity, and respect.
5. Continuous growth
Training is not a one-time seminar. It must be an ongoing cycle that evolves with industry changes.
The Return of Investment of Training
Skeptics often see training as a “soft” investment with unclear returns. Lee argues the opposite. He highlights three measurable outcomes every organization should track:
• Employee Retention: Trained staff feel valued and stay longer.
• Customer Loyalty: Professional, empathetic service creates repeat clients.
• Brand Reputation: Companies with well-trained staff naturally rise above competitors.
He adds:
“When staff are untrained, companies lose business silently. However when staff are trained, companies gain loyalty loudly.”
The human element
Lee insists that training is ultimately about human dignity. Staff are not tools, they are people. When organizations invest in training, they send a message: “You matter. Your growth matters.” That message alone transforms the energy of workplaces.
As he puts it:
“A staff member who feels invisible will never shine for your company. Though one who feels seen, valued, and trained will illuminate every corner of your business.”
Staff training through a spiritual lens
Lee often integrates spiritual wisdom into his programs, reminding participants that service and growth are sacred acts:
• “Whoever saves one life—it is as if he had saved mankind entirely.” (Qur’an 5:32)
• “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” (Bible, Colossians 3:23)
For Lee, training is not merely corporate, it is spiritual. It uplifts souls as much as it strengthens businesses.
The Qatar Advantage
Lee believes Qatar has a unique advantage in staff training: a national culture of intentionality. Unlike some markets that chase speed, Qatar embraces careful preparation. This creates fertile ground for training programs that focus on depth, sustainability, and long-term vision.
“When you train your staff, you are not teaching them to serve you. You are teaching them to serve themselves—and in doing so, they will naturally elevate your company to heights you never imagined.”
In Dubai, in Doha, and across the globe, this principle remains universal: companies grow when their people grow first.
Lee Levy’s story is not just about being a life coach, or even about expanding into Qatar. It is about courage in its purest form—the kind that risks comfort for calling, applause for authenticity, and success for service.
His journey proves that true transformation begins when we dare to leave the safety of what we know. And through it all, Lee continues to remind us of the most powerful truth:
So currently, while Dubai continues to operate in its 19th year, Doha in its 3rd year, Manchester training in 2nd year, office expansion into Riyadh is imminent.
“Transformation is not about changing the world first—it is about changing yourself so the world has no choice other than to follow.”
Dubai crowned him. Qatar tested him. The world now recognizes him.
