From Lebanon to London and now Doha, young Lebanese designer Tatiana Nassour is introducing her first jewellery collection through TWENNY FOUR—a brand rooted in independence, femininity, personal identity, and the powerful story of becoming a mother. We speak to Tatiana about her journey, her connection to Qatar, and the meaning behind the name and signature leopard motif of her new brand.
You grew up between Lebanon and London. How have these two places shaped the person and designer you are today?
Growing up between Lebanon and London has had a huge influence on who I am and how I see the world. I spent much of my life studying and living in London, while always remaining deeply connected to my Lebanese roots.
I think having that connection to two very different environments gave me a broader perspective. Lebanon has always been an important part of my identity, while London influenced the way I think, experience culture, and express myself. Both places have shaped my personality and ultimately influenced the way I approach creativity.

Why did you choose Qatar as the place to launch your very first collection?
Choosing Qatar was a very intentional and emotional decision for me.
Qatar has created such a meaningful space for jewellery. There is a genuine appreciation here for craftsmanship, beauty, detail, and, most importantly, the story behind each piece. Jewellery is celebrated through exhibitions and events that give designers the opportunity to present their work and connect with people who truly understand and value it.
What makes that even more special to me is the opportunity Qatar creates for women, including Arab women, to come here with an idea, a story, and something they have created, and be given a space to showcase it.
As a young Lebanese woman launching my first brand, that means so much to me. Being able to stand here in Doha and introduce something that was born from such a personal part of my life feels incredibly empowering.

The leopard is a central part of TWENNY FOUR’s identity. Why did you choose it as your signature?
The leopard has actually always been my favourite print. I’ve always loved wearing it, whether through clothing, accessories, or small details in my everyday style.
But beyond simply loving the print, I really connect with what the leopard represents. It is strong and independent, but at the same time incredibly feminine and graceful.
There is a quiet confidence in the way a leopard carries itself. It doesn’t need to be loud to be powerful—it simply knows its strength. That feeling resonated with me, and it felt very natural to take something I have always personally loved and make it part of the identity of TWENNY FOUR.

The name TWENNY FOUR has a deeply personal meaning. What does it represent to you?
TWENNY FOUR comes from a very important chapter of my life. At 24, I became a mother—and also a single mother.
That was a transformative period for me. I wanted to do something for myself and for my daughter, something that was truly ours. I wanted to build something independently and create something that belonged to me.
When I look back at being 24, I think about how much that year gave me. It shaped me, challenged me, and pushed me to grow in ways I never expected. It was honestly such a beautiful and defining age for me, and one I never want to forget.
That is why I chose the name TWENNY FOUR. It is my way of carrying that year, that feeling, and that version of myself with me wherever I go.

Does motherhood influence the way you approach your work and your ambitions?
Absolutely. Becoming a mother changed my perspective on many things. It gave me a stronger sense of responsibility, but also a deeper understanding of independence and purpose.
TWENNY FOUR is very personal to me because it represents a decision to create something for myself and my daughter. I wanted her to grow up seeing that it is possible to build something from your own experiences and turn a personal story into something meaningful.
For me, the brand is not simply about jewellery. It is also about identity, strength, femininity, and the courage to create your own path.

What do you hope women feel when they wear TWENNY FOUR?
I hope they feel confident, feminine, and strong. I want each piece to feel personal to the woman wearing it.
The leopard represents so much of what I believe in: strength without needing to be loud, independence without losing femininity, and confidence that comes from knowing who you are.
I hope TWENNY FOUR becomes something women can connect with—not just as jewellery, but as a reflection of their own stories and the different chapters of their lives.
What does this first collection mean to you personally?
It represents the beginning of something that is very close to my heart. This collection carries a part of my personal story, my identity, and one of the most transformative periods of my life.
Launching it in Doha makes that moment even more meaningful. TWENNY FOUR began with a very personal experience, but I hope it can grow into something that speaks to many women—women who are independent, feminine, ambitious, and unafraid to create their own story.
For me, this is only the beginning.
