Set against the serene backdrop of clear waters and blue skies, the Queen Elizabeth 2 stands as a majestic symbol of timeless history and elegance. With a remarkable legacy of over 1400 voyages, this iconic vessel is now docked at Port Rashid as Dubai’s only floating hotel, offering guests a rare opportunity to step into a living museum of maritime heritage.

Queen Elizabeth 2 is a retired British ocean liner. Built by John Brown & Company on, the River Clyde in Scotland for the Cunard Line, the ship was operated as a transatlantic liner and cruise ship from 1969 to 2008. Launched in 1967 by Her Majesty the Queen, the Queen Elizabeth 2 completed 25 World Cruises and visited 312 ports. In 1982, the ship was converted into a troop carrier ship for the Falklands War and out of the 127 ships used during the war, today, the Queen Elizabeth 2 is the only ship that is still afloat. 2008 marked the Queen Elizabeth 2 final voyage to Dubai featuring 920 cabins.

Today, it stands still in Dubai, offering guests and opportunity to explore her rich history through a guided Heritage Tour to uncover British maritime history, design, and engineering while stepping back into the elegance of a by gone era.
