AlBahie is delighted to offer for the first time an impressive 32-lot selection of renowned British artist Peter Upton’s artworks for auction. Upton is best known for his paintings depicting Arabian horses and desert scenes, as well as for being an expert and highly acclaimed international judge of Arab horses, a historian, and an author. He has published many articles in international magazines, as well as numerous books on Arabian Horses, including his magnum opus ‘The Arab Horse’. Upton has traveled extensively around the Arab region, producing detailed sketches as he travels which he uses as references for his paintings which ultimately give his works a unique look with swift painterly strokes and captivating compositions. A preview exhibition is currently on display in AlBahie Auction House.
