Guests staying in-house are able to connect to the hotel’s WhatsApp business account through QR code where they will be able to request services including taxis, laundry, restaurant bookings and more.

The WhatsApp service is also available to outside guests – enabling them to book a room, reserve a table in one of the restaurants and outlets or get more information about promotions, offers or general information such as opening hours.

“WhatsApp business also means that our guests can contact us pre-arrival to ensure we continue to create endless memorable moments for them. By providing this technology option we’re able to enhance the levels of confidence and safety our guests have,” Mr. Akkari said.

 The hotel has also adopted My Menu which is a – a digital menu accessible on a guest’s smartphone or tablet through a QR code – for their food and beverage outlets. 

“Menus are one of the most used and most significant items in a restaurant and digitizing it is one of the most important ways to combat the spread of infection in a dining space,” Mr. Akkari said. “My Menu is not only safe it is also convenient for our guests it literally gives them the information they need at their fingertips.”
