The reveal was followed by a lunch at the Lobito de Mar restaurant, located in the luxurious gardens of the island of Marsa Malaz Kempinski hotel. An audience of motoring journalists, industry insiders, influencers, and potential customers were given the opportunity to explore the luxurious appeal and innovative excellence of Chery’s flagship SUV in a test drive.
First to debut in a Middle Eastern country, the new TIGGO 8 Pro Max aims to dominate the mid-size, seven-seat SUV segment in Qatar, revolutionizing the market and heating up the local motoring scene. The intelligent SUV is now available in three trim levels: COMFORT, LUXURY, and FLAGSHIP. All are equipped with a potent 2.0-liter TGDI turbocharged engine.
Adopting Chery’s latest design language, the seven-seater SUV’s exterior lines stand out thanks to the galaxy-inspired three-dimensional grille, LED headlights with dual daytime running lamps, LED taillights, 18-inch alloy wheels, and quad- exhaust tips—all contributing to a sportier, more menacing look.
Slotting above the TIGGO 7, the latest TIGGO 8 Pro Max has an overall length of 4722 mm and measures 1860 mm and 1705 mm in width and height, respectively. The flagship SUV also has a generous wheelbase of 2710 mm.
While the exterior styling looks both sporty and bold, the interior of the latest TIGGO model exudes luxury, quality, and modernity. An upscale interior sporting softer padded surfaces, higher quality materials, and advanced technologies greets drivers.
Depending on the trim level, the 2022 TIGGO 8 Pro Max’s interior gets a 24.6-inch twin-screen on the front panel, along with another 8-inch climate control screen to operate the dual-zone climate control and entertainment system. Other key interior highlights include a choice of black or black-brown interior, keyless entry system, Sony sound system with eight speakers, panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory function, central cooling box, mobile wireless charging, and an intelligent voice control assistant system in both English and Arabic, to name but a few.
