Le Méridien City Center Doha is pleased to announce the promotion of Naike Lopez to General Manager, effective 1st January 2026. Previously serving as Hotel Manager, Lopez steps into her new role following a period of strong performance, operational growth, and continued brand elevation at the property.
With over 12 years of progressive leadership experience across leading hospitality brands, Naike brings a proven track record of operational excellence, people-focused leadership, and commercial acumen. Her career spans prestigious organizations including Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, W Hotels, The Luxury Collection, MATCH Hospitality AG, Marriott Marquis City Center Doha, and Marriott Executive Apartments.
From her early foundation in Food & Beverage to leading full-scale hotel operations, Lopez has demonstrated a strong ability to balance performance-driven results with guest-centric leadership. A defining milestone in her career was her leadership role with MATCH Hospitality AG during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, contributing to the delivery of world-class hospitality experiences on a global stage.
Since joining Le Méridien City Center Doha as Hotel Manager, Lopez has played a pivotal role in strengthening brand positioning, enhancing service excellence, and driving organizational performance.
Known for her people-first leadership style, Lopez is recognized for cultivating strong workplace culture, empowering talent, and protecting brand integrity. In her new role, she will focus on elevating guest experiences and strengthening commercial performance, reinforcing the hotel’s market position.
