Tamani Al-Yafeai: “Hour & Hour” completes its second year

“Hour & Hour” TV program has accomplished several achievements and successes and in a summary of the most important achievements of the program on the second anniversary of its establishment as one of the most important national initiatives for organizing cultural, sports and heritage events in the state, “Hour & Hour” program, founded by Mrs. Tamani Al-Yafeai on August 27^th 2022,  has been founded in conjunction with the World Cup FIFA Qatar inspired by a personal experience she lived by herself as she mentioned in statements that she found some difficulties in optimum time management that guarantees the balance between requirements of family, work and life, which prompted her to establish the program that is considered that first one to include social, cultural, sports, heritage and even voluntary aspects.

“Hour & Hour” seeks to organize seminars, events, initiatives and various activities in many fields: including cultural, social, educational, health, charitable, voluntary and heritage, with a greater focus on the education and sports sectors, as well as intellectual competitions, as the program is based on presenting an educational hour, a sports hour, a cultural hour and a sports hour.   

The CEO of “Hour & Hour” decided to present initiatives and events of “Hour & Hour” to all the categories of the society including young and old, women and men, and people with special needs, to develop their multiple skills and refine their talents, the most important of which are leadership skills. It has a highly skilled team to provide a high-level educational, pedagogical and sports environment locally, regionally and internationally.

One of the most important goals of “Hour & Hour” is seeking to combine culture and sport together through conducting purposeful programs and events in addition to organizing external tours and workshops, supporting the youth initiatives and participating in the fine arts over the year.

Through its various programs and events, the programs aims to build a cultured and educated Qatari generation and one of its goals also in contributing to achieving Qatar national vision 2030 in addition to achieving the sustainable goals with respect to environment and agriculture.

The program looks forward to developing the partnerships and expanding the scope of works in order to achieve its strategic goals and contribute to the state development and prosperity.

“Hour & Hour” program has presented lots of initiatives and events which started with the World Cup as it organized several events followed by many other events whether national, sports, religious and heritage.

“Hour & Hour” program has been keen to be present at all important national occasions and events to enliven them and it worked on combining education and sport together through conducting purposeful programs and events in addition to organizing external tours and workshops, supporting the youth initiatives and participating in the fine arts over the year.

“Hour & Hour” presented a large group of workshops in various fields, through which it tried to ensure the exchange of experiences and improve the construction of visions and integrated solutions, as well as integrate the participants in the workshops and gain practical experience. Through the workshops, it is possible to benefit from the experiences of others and facilitate teamwork as well as stimulate the development of skills. The workshops also contribute to strengthening the bonds between the participants.

Through the workshops it presented, “Hour & Hour” has achieved a lot of objectives; among them is the cognitive objective, which is achieved through several processes, namely, remembering, analyzing, and making decisions. Another one is the objective of teaching skills, such that some workshops focused on activities, whether from drawing theater or even sports, such as sports. Others achieved the objective of discussing ideas and concepts through constructive discussions that took place, as well as intellectual seminars. There is also the objective of presenting new ideas.

“Hour & Hour” program has managed to enter into partnerships with governmental and private organizations, the civil society institutions and the various media, and these partnerships have resulted in lots of initiatives and events that achieved great success and wide appeal in the community.
