- Volkswagen and Q Auto have signed a deal with the Doha Cycling Team to be their official automotive sponsor.
- Under the partnership, Volkswagen and Q Auto will provide the new Teramont 2021 facelift as the team’s support vehicle for all meetings and competitions across the racing season.
- The Doha Cycling Team was established in 2017 by Mr. Mohamed Salim Al-Jaaidi and a team of 3 professional trainers, and has since grown to include over 700 active riders.
Volkswagen Middle East and Q Auto, the official Volkswagen dealer in Qatar, have announced the sponsorship of the Doha Cycling team. This partnership will see the automotive brand and dealer provide the latest Teramont as the team’s support vehicle for the upcoming racing season. Events include the National TT Championship, Al Adaid Desert race challenge and The Ride of Champions.
Established in 2017 by Mr. Mohamed Salim Al-Jaaidi, the Doha Cycling Team is a group of over 700 passionate cyclists who train and compete in cycling events across the country. The cycling team is committed to advancing the sport under the Qatar Vision 2030 and is building the cycling community, particularly focusing on the youth by working with schools and universities.
Under the sponsorship, Volkswagen and Q Auto will provide the new 7-seater Teramont to the Doha Cycling Team as the support vehicle. The Volkswagen Teramont is the regions largest and most popular SUV sold by the brand.
